Guys,

I have been having this problem for a couple of months. When using Internet Explorer 6.0, when I visit certain sites, all kinds of junk starts downloading. I don't think that it is the sites themselves as it sometimes happens on reputable sites as well.

Searchyet, Statsdelivered2, etc. are just some of what shows up in the "back" button window.

If I hit the stop button, it stops. If not, sometimes I'm redirected to other sites.

IT does not happen on AOL, just IE.

I have Norton and I use Lava Soft frequently.

Any ideas on how I can fix this.

It sounds like you're probably infected with something. Even though you have some anti-spyware and anti-virus software installed, that sometimes isn't enough. Try installing Microsoft's antispyware and a few others like Spybot to see if any of those will catch it.

I would also increase the security level on your browser, as well.

Make sure that you run the AV and Ad-Aware in Safe Mode, and also make sure that your definitions are up to date (I've come across some nasties that revert the definition files back to '02 or something similar).

You might also want to ad Search and Destroy, HijackThis and, if you're really desperate, Microsoft's new spyware removal tool to your arsenal and run those.
