Google dropped my site after 2 whole days in the index

Are adwords responsible?

I made a site about 3 months ago, and nothing ever visited it because I had no inbounds. Finally, after a month, the googlebot came around, but it refused to do any crawling. After about a week it finally indexed 3 whole pages on my site, two of which were privacy policy and terms of use pages, and hasn't been back since. For a short period that one useful page that got indexed was in the serps, but after two days my site disappeared.

When I type in "site.com" in google or site:site.com, it brings up the basic no-description / title listing. So I'm assuming this means I haven't been blacklisted (no reason I should be). Any idea why google would do this to me?

My web host's servers were down for three days, which I assume could be responsible - but it seems drastic to remove an entire site just because of temporary technical difficulties.

All of this got me to wondering if maybe something a little more sinister isn't going on. I started using adwords right after my site was indexed, and then for no apparent reason they drop me. Is it possible that they figure there's no reason to index my site so long as I'm paying them?

No. Be patient, work on your inbound links and keep building your content.
