Some background information ...

I have a site with a CMS that runs everything from the forums and classified ads, to the links database and news submissions. The site has over 1,000 registered members and receives just under 1,000 uniques per day.

However, the CMS produces some very dodgy url's that are not very search friendly. Lot's of ids that are no good for search engines.

What CMS should I move to for clean url's? Can I move all the user info, posts, news etc across without messing it all up?

Need some help on this one.

Hi,
You may not need such a drastic change
But if you host with Apache
You could use “mode_rewrite”

Use the Google tool bar linked with WebmasterWorld and do a search here we have plenty docs about it
However the learning curve might be a bit stiff :)
