Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to simulate a dial-up connection. Like in flash.
You know, enter your website address, this is how your site loads on a 28k modem, this is how your site loads on a 56k modem.

This would be usefull.

Hey wghost - welcome to WebmasterWorld. Hope you enjoy it here.

We recently had a discussion on this very topic. You can find it here [webmasterworld.com].

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your response, it was very helpful.
I happened upon your community last night and stayed up way too late!
The discussions struck me as very intelligent and informative, and the members seemed willing to lend advice. The BB's are not filled with pages of catty arguments and flames. This is certainly a change from the norm.
You should all be proud of what you have here. I hope I can in some way, do my part to contribute.

You slept? Sorry, not allowed.

Thanks. "Respect for your peers" is the first rule around here. The second is "no self-promotion." Pretty simple. Brett (owner of WmW) and the original core members were veterans of other boards and just wanted a place to talk business. Seems to have worked, eh?
