Changing a url on all pages automatically

I have to change the url of a link on a +500 pages website.
Is there an easy way to do this?

HomeSite has a nice extended replace feature.

If the site is a "static" flat file type site then
HomeSite is the tool

They have an excellent "Global Search and Replace" function...

you can change this variable in seconds for all your 500 pages and embedded urls and include your subfolders...

If the site is dynamically generated then you should use your database management system to achieve this or dump the file to .csv and run it through Homesite or another tool that allows you to run perl scripting for modifying specific variable in text blocks..
