Banning Country Specific IPs

I wanted to discuss which IPs fellow webmasters block from their websites to stop people from submitting fraudulent information on their website.

How far do you let repetive fraud happen on your website before you broadly begin to ban IPs? Also, which countries/geographical areas do you ban?

For an example, I have blocked all Chinese IPs from one of our sites that generates purchase request leads (there is no credit card information submitted). I did this because I noticed the vast majority of leads submitted by IPs that originated in China were fake leads (people were basically picking random people out of a phone book and submitting the info). These fake leads were obviously of no value. Meanwhile, they jeopordized relationships with some of my largest clients. Although, I dont like the idea of banning IPs...I saw banning these IPs as a necessary measure and the most cost effective solution.

I didn't do it personally, so I couldn't tell you. It was done by our developers.
