Publishing notes on articles prior to writing them

would this help me rank better while I am writing them?

Seeking an opinion here.

I am working on a travel guide for my area and I am basically writing all my notes on my articles down.

I have about 30 rough notes for various articles for my area. I have been thinking of publishing them on my site until I have about 60 or 70. Then going back through and rewriting them.

The idea being that I build my position in serps while I work on my content. I am torn between makeing a profit & serps or presenting quality the first time a visitor sees the site.

anyway's I'd love opinions :-)

i would think yes.

how about hiding it behind a small sitemap link on your holding page?

couldn't be any worse than a directory scraper site, and they rank right now.

Just make sure you don't forget to mention WHEN those updates articles will be available.

Even better: offer some way to let them know, if you can.

Otherwise they'll just visit your site regularly at first, hoping to find an update and after they see nothing new a few times, they'll stop visiting your site (or at least, those pages).
