We are a relatively small company looking for examples of policies and procedures one should follow to manage our website. Using existing boiler plate language would help us. Does anyone have any examples than can share or know of any good resources we can reference?

Thanks!!

Can you be a little more specific? Is this for visitors visiting the site? Or for admins who administer the site?

By the way, welcome to Wmw. You'll find a lot of great information here. To get started, go above the blue line at the top of the page and use the 'site search'. You'll be reading for HOURS!

are you in the uk or europe and is your site e-commerce enabled? if so there are a number of laws which you are legally obliged to adhere to such as the EU Distance Selling Directive (also part of UK Trading Standard Law) and also the Data Protection Act.

if anyone wants more info on these, stickymail me and i'll send a list of government sites.

To clarify, I am looking for policy and procedures that relate to the administration of the site.

Thank you for recommending the search function.
