Just keep at it, experience is your ticket to a bigger pay packet - I'm still a relative Newb myself (4years). When I was starting out at uni I asked for nothing, after a few sites I asked for £8per hour, I can now ask for more than treble that when free-lancing - At work our designers and developers are charged out at £50 and hour. Not sure if this is the usual wage though (North UK)
