Windows xp problem

Heey

i'm having a huge problem with windows xp.
For some reason when i press " it doesn't do "
it does nothing. But when i press " twice it does do something and gives me ""
Basicly this means every time i want " i need to push " " backspace

This is so annoying when trying to code.
I don't have any adware or virusses pc is completely clean. I have seen the same thing with other people who have xp. Pretty sure it's part of xp but i would like to know how to turn it off cause you can imagine how annoying this is

Could be your keyboard settings. Check to make sure that your keyboard layout is in the right language by going to Keyboard under the Control Panel.
