:(:(:(I am very disappointed with geocities. I am a free user.About 3 weeks ago I noticed an ad that pushed all the content over. It is messing up everything.I had a script that blocked the old adbox.I cant find one to block this new adframe. Does anyone know about a script I can put in to block the new ad?:)

It's against the TOS you agree to (when you use a free site like those provided by geocities) to abrogate their onsite ads. In other words, no one's going to tell you how to get around this, because it's illegal.

Free sites like geocities: you get what you pay for.

You don't always need to read it when you have some common sense. ;) Of course they don't want you to block their ads.

Webhosting is very cheap now, take the plunge and buy yourself a hosting package and a domain.

First, if you've got a domain, and you're using Geocities, can I assume you bought the domain through Yahoo? If so, you've been grossly overcharged. I pay $8.50 per year for my domain names. I used to pay Yahoo $35 before I learned better.

If you're paying $35 per year, then you'll actually save money by buying a real hosting account, and dumping Yahoo.

Second, I've noticed that when I use stealth forwarding (some call it "Cloaked" forwarding), the Geocities ads are automatically blocked. It was unintentional on my part, but I suppose I was violating TOS. I don't use their service anymore, so I'm not in violation of anything.
