I have just spotted something that is new to me. I was checking my positions for keywords and found this when the serps returned my index page for a search.

www.mysite.com/www.someonesholdingpage.nl

This is the link to the site. When you click on the link it takes you to my index. Anyone else seen this or knoe what it is?

The second part is simply an unusual page address (or filename). Probably it is a dynamically-created redirect.

Dynamically created by who/what? and why?

The URL served by google is as above. The link does go to my page but if i look at the second URL it is a holding page for someone elses site. I just wonder why this happens and where it might have come from.

My site has the same amount of traffic but sales have dropped....considerably....

I have never seen anything like this before and there is always the paranoia instilled in us by people talking about link hijacks n the like.
