Using an FTP program with a wireless connection

I'm about to purchase a Linksys Wireless G router. Considering its a headache to wire several rooms myself, I've decided I'll simply purchase wireless adaptors for several of the PCs.

Since I have never gone wireless on a PC, I have two questions.

1. When you start Mozilla, will it automatically detect the wireless signal? I assume explorer would, but I don't use explorer.

2. Can you use WS_FTP easily with a wireless connection? All PCs using the DSL line must be able to upload files to different servers. Again, I don't know if the FTP program will automatically reocgnize the wireless signal.

thanks!

Huh doesn't this belong in some other forum? Anyways...

Once you install your wireless drivers, your system will automatically detect the wireless connection when you power up, and you'll be able to use whatever browser of your choice. There shouldn't be a problem unless you didn't install the drivers in the first place.

I haven't had a single problem with FTPing and wireless.
