I have a site on a Windows 2000 server. I added the includes tag "<!--#include virtual="/abc.html" -->" I get an IIS error (Error 500). I guess it is something to do with IIS settings. Do I need to enable or disable anything.
Thanks in advance

I do know that if I use SSI, I have to change the page extention that is pulling the SSI to .shtml

There is a way to do it in htaccess also.

It works with all extensions, I have tried it with .aspx, html etc. However since I dont have remote access to the server I need to tell my ISP exactly what needs to be done to make includes work.
