I am just on the brainstorming part of making my own website with the intent to make it something that will generate me money. The niche seems good, and ideas are rolling in for what i ought to do. However i am stumped about if i should make a LLC to have the protection of a business should anything go wrong or any legal issues arise. I plan on running a mostly affiliate/associate website, it seems like most of the revenue would be commission or from the likes of adsense. So do alot of you have those checks coming to your business name, or to your personal name? Just wondering if its worth the trouble to set up the business, or maybe im paranoid!
Thanks for your time,
Ryan M.

p.s. - sorry if this has been discussed, searches didnt yield much :/

If your attempting to shield your self from law suits then an LLC may be teh way to go. Go see a lawyer is the best advice.
