Like let's say something like:
"Hip Hop Banking"
"Hip Hop Saving & Bonds"
"Hip Hop Accountants"
"Hip Hop Attorneys"
"Hip Hop Doctors"
Get the idea. Say there was a site about Hip Hop Attorneys, the site publishes law info, and reputable attorneys across the globe that are die hard hip hop fans or live the hip hop culture, but they are Attorneys practicing all types of law. Who are reaching out to Hip Hop clients, but not jokingly, seriously. Or HipHopBanking.com is a site that list many banks that specialize in helping Hip Hoppers get loans, banking needs, invest, etc.
Just like "race" is always targeted, because of it's cultural differences, can hip hop be treated the same?
Is this a crazy way of thinking? Or do you think something like this has potential?
I know the only way to really find out is to try it out, but I really don't have the interest in creating that type of site (though I do like hip hop...mainly old school), but my time is limited, therefore I don't have the time, but maybe I will spark the mind of someone else. First, you will need to find a Hip Hop Doctor/Attorney/Rocket Engineer...that's the hard part :).
I would like to just get people thought about this. Does targeting Hip Hop in a professional business manner sound like something that can one day be lucrative and successful? Share all thoughts!
"Hip Hop Banking"
There is actually a Chappelle's Show skit about this.

At any rate my point was yes you can target hip hop. Unfortunatley after some research you will see that your going to need volume if your looking to monetize via advertising.
The community simply has not matured enough yet to leverage online advertising in a real way.
..Best of luck..
