slow site loading - name server problem?

Hi All,

I have a dedicated server with only one domain hosted and there is no visitors yet. If I load the site using the domain name, it takes 2-3" to load, if I access the site using ip address, the page loads instantly. I have cleaned the cache before any of those experiment. So I figure the problem may be at the name server provided by the host company. I also asked the company to troubleshoot this problem, they seem to have no clues. Do you have any?

You might also look into changing your client side dns and trying it maybe the server you are usin to lookup the domain is taking a long time. i use dns: 4.2.2.1

But I tried two ISPs, the problem repeats itself.

I tried different browser, strange enough, the problem occurs only in IE and Firefox, but not in Opera and NS, even though I clean all cache before first accessing my site.
