Message Too Old, No Replies

Anybody else invited to join a Yahoo group lately?

Looks spammy.

I won't mention the group but here's its description:

Getting listed in Google and other popular search engines is one of the most effective
ways of directing free, targeted traffic to your web site.

Before you try to add your site to the search engines,
you should understand what they look for when they decide how rank your site.
Just because you're listed doesn't mean you'll get traffic.
You have to make sure your site is search engine ready.

Here we will discuss wide rage of techniques and methods currently available on the net.

Sounds fishy to me.

I've received almost one hundred of these lately. No idea why.

Must be some kind of spam going on.

I've received one on every domain I own - from a few groups.
It's a new form of spam and I am sure people are falling for it.

Asking G the first quoted sentence in msg. 1 may be rather revealing.

Well, I reported them yesterday and *poof* it's gone. I was kind of wondering if they were grabbing webmaster world emails from site links...
