How Can I save my e-mails from Outlook Express after preinstalling the windows?
Is there a way that I can export them in a file or something?
(I used to copy the .dbx files but now I can't find them)
Thank you.

If you are talking about saving a complete backup copy of all emails:

File>Import Export>Export to a File>Personal File Folder(PST)> Highlight 'Personal Folders' at the top of the list, check the 'Include subfolders', give the file a name and location... this will save a complete copy of everything in Outlook to a .pst file that can be imported back into Outlook.

I had to do this recently.

Go to Tools / Options / Maintenance

Click the "Store Folder" Button and specify a different location for you message store (preferably a different harddrive).

Re-install Windows

Copy the moved message store to the Windows default location.

I've got only:
File->Export->addres book...
messages...
when I choose messages it says:"This will export messages from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange."
There is no export-to-a-file thing.
So I think I will do it the second way.
thanks guys
