In our logs, I'm finding visits from a site that has a link to us sandwiched in between two p0rn site links. The accompaning text says:
"Send traffic or request link trade to be included in this list"
Does anyone have an idea why our site (which has no questionable content) would ever have been linked to like this? We have never requested links from anyone, except ODP. Could this be why our SERPs ranking in Google have been trashed for the last several months?

As to how it got there, you noted that their link page says send traffic or request a link. Perhaps some of your traffic generators appreciate their site(s). Maybe it's nothing more than they noticed and you got a link as a result

As to your serps, one link from some unrelated site which you don't link to isn't going to be a significant factor in your ranking.

never mind...I found a discussion about these guys...turns out its a spam technique that only shows the link to your site when you click on the log-generated link back to their site.
