Hi everybody,

I'm looking for CMS software that can fill four specific needs and was hoping to get some recommendations from people. The CMS has to do the following:

1 - Have the ability to output static html files (having dynamically-driven pages is good too, but I have to have this ability).

2 - Has be be compatible with MySQL

3 - Has to be template driven.

4 - Has to be Open Source.

So far I've only found 1 CMS package that fits the bill - OpenCms.

The only problem with OpenCms is that it's coded entirely in Java and XML. I use to be a java programmer, so the learning curve won't be too high probably, but overall I prefer using PHP and Perl for web content management.

Can anybody give me some ideas or pm me?

Thanks :)

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com], CanadianChris.

Is it for a large or a small site? I have't tried it, but how about CMS Made Simple [cmsmadesimple.org]? It appears to do caching, it's open source, PHP/MySQL, but it looks more likely to cater for the smaller site and is only at version 0.7.something.
