Email newsletter: New subscribers issue

Hello,

For a long time now, I've been using formmail on my website, as the means for adding new subscribers to my email newsletter. I would then manually add the subscribers email to my newsletter script, one at a time, from the email I received requesting they be added.

Well, my site has grown so large now, that it's becoming quite a tedious task to add each email this way.

The way the newsletter script is set up, is that you would send an email to subscribe-newsletter@mysite.com. But I thought this seemed unprofessional, and I thought a form to add your email to my newsletter, on my site looked better.

Now I'm wondering, is there any way to automate this, so I can still use a form on my site, for people wanting to be added to the newsletter, but it somehow emails the subscribe-newsletter@mysite.com and subscribes them?

Thanks.

Basically my question is, is there an easier way to let people subscribe to my newsletter, rather than having them manually email subcsribe-newsletter@mysite.com.

Such as through a form on my site, that emails that email and subscribes them?

That's the less winded version... lol

Anyone know?
