Heavy Drop in Site Traffic

I just noticed that, since the start of November, I've had a drastic drop in traffic. I mean, I've lost about 20/30% of my daily traffic. How the heck do I find out what happened? While checking my logs, I've noticed that I'm getting fewer Google referrals. Normally they're stuff with Google referrals!

Man, did something happen with my Google ranking? Did I just suddenly drop out for some reason? I don't know what it could be. What should I look for?

ADDED:

Could I have been penalized (via site ranking) because I submitted a couple of new sites I created under my main domain name to their search engine? Would that qualify as "multiple submissions" (since they're still under my main domain, although completely different content/themes) and thus a penalty?

Please ignore the multiple submission addition. I just discovered that Google doesn't care how many times you submit, so nevermind on that. Although i STILL can't figure out why the sudden drop in traffic and lessening of Google referrals.

Had an equivalent increase here since the beginning of November. That replaces a similar drop for the entire month of October.

They've retweaked the algo and in this case, I'm a winner and you're a loser. Last month, I was a loser, and perhaps you were a winner?

What exactly did they tweak? The way they rank search results? And do they always do this?

Why not go down to the Google forum and read some of the posts there.

You will probably find the answers to most of your questions.

Jesus. I've been looking over all my logs, and it seems like I've lost over HALF of my traffic starting on November 2! :(
