Best Ad Server Program

I consider going with a third-party ad server, but I'm looking into serving ads myself. Can anyone recommend a good ad server program that they've been using? Thanks.

P.S. I'm not a techhead, so the easier to use the program, the better. I don't need all the bells and whistles. One that works simply is just fine.

If you are looking for a free solution, you might want to check out

1) PhpAdsNew
2) Oasis

However if you are looking for a paid solution, than you can check out:

1) [accipiter.com...] (Accipiter AdManager)
2) [247realmedia.com...]
3) [falkag.com...]

Hope this helps.

I second PhpAdsNew. It has an excellent user interface.

I tried phpadnews. Wow. It's pretty difficult to get a handle on the interface! I might have to rethink the whole third-party ad server idea...

I have tried many scripts and will say that I have yet to see anything as easy at PhpAdsNew.

I would highly recommend you to first read the manual, and do the things one by one (don't look into 10 things at a time, you are new to the software, so all those features can be too many to handle at first sight).

1) Finish setup and the configuration.
2) Click on Publishers & Zones and create a *Test* Publisher & Test Zone
3) Click on Advertisers & Campaigns and create a *Test* advertiser and setup a test banner.

I personally think if you were to do one thing at a time, then within an hour or so, you will start getting hold of PhpAdsNew and I guarantee you that once you understand how it works, you will recommend it to your friends too, who are looking for a top of the line Ad Server Script at free.

PhpAdsNew can easily serve over few million plus banner impressions a day and has features that could otherwise cost you thousands of dollars.

Hope this helps, and if you still have any questions about PhpAdsNew or how it works, do not hesitate to send me a sticky mail.
