Whats the general methods/tools/resources etc involved in sending targetted mailings/regular newsletters to customers and contacts. I'm still using OE manually and i'm sure theres a better way! Thanks in advance for any ideas.

There are several listserver options available for this kind of thing. Some hosting companies even roll there own and offer to their users. I don't use any myself but I'd recommend searching here for 'mail list' or 'listserver' or that kind of thing. Also try those searches out on Google. You'll find lots to choose from. A good program will allow you to sort your lists but certain criteria and so forth so you can target your audience better.
