I have received an email from a friend who said that he has not sent it. I think that my computer may be infected with some NIMDA like virus. I'm running Win 2000 Pro. Does anyone know which processes I should look for in my Task Manager and what else should I do to find out if I was infected or not and if I was, what do I do to get rid of it?

Thanks a lot.

Apparently from out tech guy herer the symptons will be....

Guest account will be active with no password, look for .eml files (readme & sample).

HTML pages will have a javascript line plced in them.

Go tot he NOrton website and download a scanner to check for infection.

Hope you are wrong

The file that was attached to the message was named OEMRNCE.zl9. I did not open it. Anyone else has experience with this file?
