Hi I have to move my site from my ISP to a proper host, as they say I have 7 days to move! I have about 200 pages indexed in google and all receiving hits, I dont want to loase all them pages from google. What is the best way to do this? I can still use the ISP webspace but not for the site, I have .htaccess, would it be best idea to 301 all pages to the new domain?

IE:
301 h++p://mydomain.com/page1.html h++p://myNEWdomain.com/page1.html
301 h++p://mydomain.com/page2.html h++p://myNEWdomain.com/page2.html

Or is there some other way I should do it?

Hi fishface, welcome to the best webmaster forum around... Enjoy your stay.
This has been covered many times (although the site search might not throw it up).
If you move to a new IP ASAP you shouldn't have any problems. I prefer to have a week or two grace, leaving content on old IP but once the new one is up and running there shouldn't be any need.
SEs should follow the name, not the IP address.
Good luck!

Yes, you'll want to redirect everybody to the new site.

Redirect permanent / [new.example.com...]

Should do it for Apache.

As tbear said, make sure you have your old host running for a few more days after the transfer. Sometimes it takes a few days for all the DNS to update your new IP. In the transition period, some visitors will go to your old site and some will go to your new site, depending on where they are from.
