A need a program that is either free or cheap and runs in Win98SE. It has to deal with somewhere between 2,000 and 100,000 pages on a web site and in many directories and sub-directories.

It needs to match the date on the local machine with the date of each page on the web site and only upload changed pages. Other wise I'ts going to take several hours to upload each time I change anything.

I used to have something called Netload38C a few years ago - which did stuff like this, but I can't find the installation files for it and the website for them does not work.

I like filezilla it's open source free and also you can connect via ssh as an alternative to ftp to upload files.

I just installed that yesterday - it looks like a clone for CuteFTP - which I had an old crippled demo version of. It's better than some other demo FTP programs I tried that require payment.

But I didn't see any options for syncronizing. I assume that maybe File Transfer Setting->Overwrite if Newer will do it. I'll try that.

Thanks for making me take a second look at it.

Sitepublisher is a good replacement that does the same thing as Netload.
