is there a free stat tracker or html code that i can use to track visitors after they leave my web sites?

Not unless you write spyware, malware or keystroke loggers.

I hope you mean you're looking for something that will show you which links on your site are sending visitors away, not what visitors do when they leave :)

If that's the case, you can make your outbound links through a dynamic page on your own site using a redirect. Then just log how many hits you got to your redirect page.

If you have the money, there is a stats package which shows you "downstream" pages after they have left your site.

The package uses the logs obtained legitimately from ISP.

Note: I do not work for this company that does this package.
