Hello Kodaks;

Thanks for answereing. I read some of your posts before entering my Q.it was interesting. However you are light years ahead of me when it comes to sites.

I have a free YAHOO site as quoted and the templates were easy but what I did and how I did it to me is a mistery...I just followed directions. But all those directions are gone now and I really think YAHOO wants me gone to as they are not responding ( its been two months since I tried to contact them ).

I want to upload some pics from my desk top to that site but I cant get into it to edit any info and I was wondering if anyone knew where the templets or directions went.

Thanks again

By the way: Welcome to Webmaster World, clkp4x2!

When I go to your site, it says it's invalid:

"If your GeoCities Free site has not been updated for an extended period of time, it may become deactivated"

You may want to check that out. To reactivate it, go to your URL and click re-activate.

Now with your problem:

Is your site the type that you update regulary? If not, this may be part of your problem.

Well, you are correct, now I cant access the site. I was in and out 5 times today.As far as I am now concerned YAHOO was a dark dream they are history.

Thank you very much for the info and trying to help.

I'm going to look into a paid site but will do some serious research first. Thanks again

I sent you a sticky mail for a great cheap web host that I use.

If you do not want to swich to paid hosting, you could just transfer your website to another (better) free host. I could help you transfer your website for free, if you like. There are also many free hosts that give better space limits than yahoo, and have smaller ads. Stick mail me if you are interested.

If you're just hosting a personal page, a free host may be your better bet... but free hosts in general aren't worth the money you pay to put your site there. ;) If you want to guarantee your site'll be there in a year, ad-free and waiting to be updated, go for a paid host. There's some great places out there that are real affordable.
