Is there anyway to export email account settings so I can import them into a new computer?

I see you can import but it seems there is no export option. I would like to transfer all the email accounts from one comp using Outlook 2000 to a new comp using Outlook 2003.

Yes.

File ==> Import and Export

Follow the wizzard. You can then create a PST of you set up and mail.

Then do the reverse on your new computer.

Also check the File and Settings Transfer Wizard in Windows XP.

Start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > F and S T W

This will also take care of the other personalised stuff you have on the old computer.

Thanks. The old comp is Win 98 so could not do the second option. As for Warren's suggestion I could only find how to do back ups (import/export) files and folders but not the actual email account settings (passwords, servers etc).

Finally ended up doing it manually.

For those who may also have this problem, in Outlook 2000, you can export each mail account settings to an iaf file.

Microsoft Outlook >> Tools >> Account >> Single-click on account to back-up >> Export

The export button is listed below the Set as Default button on the right-hand side pane of the internet accounts window.

Thanks wruk999 had not seen that there!

Does anyone know how to export all the signatures in Outlook (for the same reason as above)?
