Hi,

I used to use Anonymouse but it is now "pay only" and or use their .de default. Too bad.

The one free one (ad sponsored) I could find is guardster.

Any other suggestions?

What's wrong with using public proxies?

in process of burning a few hours on this one

Steganos does not look like it plays well with other applications.

And while I like being in Austrailia, what I really want is to be in the US!

looks like time for a call to the wizard!

Also: the most simple way of using high anonymity proxies: [proxz.com...]

It's not explained there, but if you really want to be anonymous (except for proxy server itself), you MUST disable Java/Javascript.

if I accidentally click on an adword ad, I can't see it as it seems that they now block it from my IP.

if I want to see how regional adwords are working, I can't unless I am 'in another state'.

I've had the best luck with this thing called Proxify.
It's fast and has some interesting options.

>>if I accidentally click on an adword ad...

I was afraid of that. Don't do it.
First, you'll be killing really nice system, profitable for all parties.
Further, false click tracking involves not only IP address, but many other data; operating system, checking all whois you click from the same IP, sales conversion from your clicks, etc., etc.
Besides, you can't see the ads if you disable Java and if you don't do it, you can't hide your real IP.

If it is indeed for testing purposes, you can ask few people from different states to send you screenshots of your site/ads.
