Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool Alternative?

I have been using the famous overture tool to get keyword suggestions, but it has been a while since the results have been updated.

I was wondering if there was another tool I could use to find keywords and there popularity.. particularly with the big G.

I know all about the adwords thing... I´m looking for search popularity not click popularity
