I'm looking to dive knee deep into content providing/blogging and want to know whats the new technology in blogging? Is there something on the horizon that no-one is adapting yet? Blogger is out there, is there anything else? Moveable Type?

WordPress [wordpress.org] is a nice blogging utility. Very easy to set up and use. It's alright for websites but a few features might require hacking. But it has a way to keep the hacks in the program if you upgrade. So it's a pretty nifty little tool.
