I've been looking around at a lot of other web site designers' sites and noticed that they handle pricing one of two ways: listing packages or telling how much they charge per hour or per task, or mentioning nothing of the price and requiring that customers contact them for quotes.
I'm leaning toward quotes, but I was wondering what everyone else thought about this. How much about your prices do you advertise before the potential client comes into contact with you, and what are the advantages/disadvantages?
oops, I meant to post this in the business issues forum since it's about dealing with customers, could this post be moved?
I would recommend a book that would help to boost your online business. It's called " Making Money in Cyberspace: The Inside Information You Need to Start or Take Your Own Business On-Line
by Paul Edwards, Linda Rohrbough, and Sarah Edwards". Best of luck!
