Im really bored of having to delete all the files from folders on my server before I can delete the folder using my ftp client.

Does anyone know of an ftp client that lets you delete the folder and contents in one click?

cheers

Dave

Hello,

Sounds like you may be using WSftp. I hated that too :) Try LeechFTP out. It will delete all sub-folders and files at once.

Filezilla is pretty good as well (assuming you're on Windows).

Core FTP Lite is good, too.

WS_FTP allows you to delete populated folders.

Options > Program Options > then check the box next to "allow deletion of non-empty folders".

Even the old FTP Explorer allows you to delete folders that still have files in them, but it only allows you to delete one such folder.

It actually changes directory, deletes each file in it in turn, and then deletes the folder itself.

The second time you try it, it says "cannot delete folder - folder not empty", and you have to log out and log back in to do the next one.
