Good Photo Gallery Script

I am volunteering to make a website for a great non profit organization.

They want to make a online photo gallery site of there images.

Does anyone know of a good photo gallery script or site frame that:

1. Is free or very low cost (for non commerical use)
2. Allows for large descriptions of the photographs
3. Runs on FreeBSD-mySQL
4. Has comments on the photos (not required)
5. Can be run as its own site (not an addition to a site)

If you have PHP on your site your should take a look at--surprisingly enough--Gallery.

From the above, it seems that Gallery and Coppermine are good choices.
