Trying to set the background of a word document. It looks fine on screen and then when I print preview or print it only show the text.
Any suggestions at all.

That little paper clip guy told me this...
"Backgrounds are displayed in Web layout view only and aren't designed for printing. Watermarks are intended for printed documents."
So go to Format ¦ Background ¦ Printed Watermark...

A couple of years ago, a friend sent me a JPEG of him saying "I see you are writing a suicide note. Would you like me to help?". Below was a menu of ways you might be trying to top yourself: overdose, hanging, gas, etc.
Sort of summed up the level of sensitivity at MicroSoft (no, I don't think it was a hint to me ;)).
