For my clients i provide them with a contract and have them fax it to me signed. I am finding it harder and harder to keep up with papers and was interested in making an online terms of service box that they have to click accept to proceed based on what service they are purchasing...my question is...can something like this legally replace a contract and if so what do i need to do to do it? thanks.

Suggest you contact a civil attorney/solicitor in your local business area. This is a REALLY grey area....

As vkaryl said, you should see an attorney. But you also might consider continue using the paper signed contract, but scanning it into your computer for easy access if there is any dispute.

I scan many documents, keep them organized in folders, and back them up on CD, sometimes for storage off site.
