I'm not sure if things have turned around for the better nowadays but maybe they have something you want to include.
Just be sure to check ever so often to make sure your feeds are up to date if you decide to use them. Sometimes a few of the providers wouldn't update their headlines that often.
This is the only one I know about so I'd shop around some for a site that is more reliable if you can.

best 3 i have found for comprehensiveness. NewIsFree includes many different ways to insert news feeds on your site, from js to includes to java etc... It is extremely customizable.
The other good thing about the first 2 is that they include many obscure and specialist feeds as well, so your site can look very different from the ubqiuitous moreover news feed. Check the updating behaviour as suggested above, but its well worth the extra trouble to get a more targeted and specialised feed.
Geekboys specialises in tech/webmaster/unix/php related feeds.

However compared to the others I recommend above this has only around 6 newsfeeds and very little customization.
