I've been PageJacked!

What do I do about it?

Not that I can probably do much about this [alltheweb.com] but it appears that an SEO company in HongKong has pagejacked my old home page, and submitted it with a re-direct to their own site. Look at the first result on the SERPs which goes to clixplus. This is an obvious attempt at passing off, code theft and TradeMark infringement, but short of going to HongKong and taking legal action what should I do, and in what order?

It appears I am not the only people they have done this to, I found 3 other companies by changing the URL /index35.htm to other index numbers (as in index25.htm and index15.htm. Goodness knows how many others might have been ripped off by these people!

And Google wonder why people consider cloaking?!

I knew someone else who got their page jacked...first he contacted the owner directly, who promptly told him to go to h***! His next move was to contact their affiliate sponsors and host provider. Shortly thereafter the page was removed/changed...

On further checking - and information from another forum where I asked the same question, this is a huge code theft with many, many high ranking sites having their index or other pages taken - including Danny S's SEW, [clixplus.com] Yahoo! [clixplus.com] and (my favorite) Google's add URL page [clixplus.com].

I also found several home pages from members of these fora - complete with Titles and Company Names by running XENU. It is scary stuff.

Wow, those guys had thousands of pages they grabbed, must have been an automated grab-the-top-ranking-pages-per-engine-and-copy type set up.

Chris moves in exalted circles! I sent Google the clixplus copy of Google's add URL page and got a reply that they would take 'appropriate action'. Sunday they had nearly 2K pages on Google and today - zip! Several other people also took action against them so I think that Mr. Robinson may be reconsidering his company's SEO strategy :)

Certainly all the pages which were 'jacked that I found have been replaced with straight redirects - so I think their little 'experiment' is over.
