Last time I checked, this is plenty tricky, depending on the registrar. And as time goes on, and more registrars come into the picture, it becomes more of a nightmare.
The lion's share of the domains are registered with NSI and several with Register.com, but there are a handful that are registered with "other" registrars - joker.com, stargate.com, tucows.com, etc.
Do I have to search out all of the registrars for all of the domains on my server and do updates with all of them? I've never logged on to many of them and don't have accounts. Or if I make the change at my DNS server's registrar, will that information propagate around to the rest of them?
What concerns me is that if some of the domains on my server were registered with stargate.com, when the registration was set up, the primary and secondary DNS servers were specified, AND their IP addresses. How will Stargate know that the primary DNS IP address has changed?
