I'm using an automated process to name files based on titles. For instance, if I have a "Widget Page" title, the associated content will be put into a file named "dir/widgetpage.html"
I'd like to know if it's okay to use this method when the title gets to be four or five words? Are there any downsides to using lengthy filenames?

If I remember correctly, URL's have a maximum length of 250 charactors.

I've seen URLs (script calls with tons of parameters) that are closing in on 1K in size.
