I have had such a great experience here that I thought I might want to continue with a niche market that I am interested in which is the outdoors for women, so I can develop traffic, with my independent and or affiliate links attached.
I don't want to deceive my visitors, but I am looking for ways to build traffic to my site, and make an income. I not good at writing, and I know there is a tone of info should I look for free content and bring people that way or I guess I could do both.
Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Secondly - my preference would be for a bulletin board discussion forum similar to what we are using here. I find they are better at building community than a chat room - especially in the early going. I hate it when I pop into a chat room and no one is there. At least with a discussion forum it forces people to come back day after day to follow up. A well run forum can be very powerful. Just look at WMW - this is the best online community I've ever come across.
Yes, but boards and chat rooms are notoriously bad at generating click-throughs on banners and affiliate marketing efforts. Most boards that I know about seem to have ended up with some sort of topic-related sponsorship.
So I guess if traffic is what I'm looking for then a content site with links to affilate programs is the best route for my outdoors site.
I do like the bullitin board concept though to build traffic and then use the traffic to integrate products that the customers would be interested in.
Should I get more focus on what area of the outdoors or should it be a general site on the outdoor, I was thinking aobut focusing on women in the outdoors.
