Limiting directory storage and transfer

Hi,

Hope this is the right forum (hope this is the right messageboard!)...

I own a domain, and I was wondering if there was a way to cap the size of particular directories, and the monthly transfer amount (and I suppose any FTP transfers too). I'm not fussed about whether it requires [domain.com...] or [dir.domain.com....] Just as long as I can put a limit on it. :)

Well you could "cap" the bandwidth depending on what FTP server you are using. For example if you are using Proftpd on a Linux server you can just add restriction commands to the config file for each system user.
