We are going to be having our website translated into Korean and I am wondering the best way to market to Korea with our website? Right now we are strictly domestic but with the new Korean translation, which is the best route to take? I know Google isn't big there, Naver is.

Sub Folder - Seems that you would pass all authority onto it?
Subdomain - Easier to implement?
New .kr ccTLD - No authority passes, but better ranking in Korea?

Seems a lot of our competitors go the subdomain route, but not sure if they are doing it because it's easier to manage?

Any idea what the best approach would be?

Thanks!

Jeff

If it's a site focused on the local market a ccTLD is the recommended path to take in Korea.
