I just got a request from one of my website users, and my reply to him was blocked by AOL. I have never sent spam or virus's, but recently some yahoo did and spoofed my email address. I'm wondering if this has caused AOL to block any of my mail to AOL users or if something else happened.

This is the error message I got back:

Your mail to the following recipients could not be delivered because they are not accepting mail from ...

Tried to contact AOL but having no luck at all. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?

Thanks, I looked at

(needed the : in there)

Doesn't look like much help, at least not for a dummy like me. It appears to be in case I have a problem at my end, but the problem is at aol. They sent me an email that clearly states they are not accepting mail from me. Could happen to you too, soon as some spammer spoofs your email address. May have to change my email address and I don't want to.

Yes, AOL will block legit emails if they rings wrong with its spam filter. All the ISPs will. Good luck getting a hold of a human at AOL. It's near impossible to do. :(

Discussion about it is going on here right now

BTW, he left the : out b/c we are not suppose to create live links to outside the site per TOS.

Please don't drop promotional urls, signature files, nor specifics that would lead people to your site. Signing your name is fine, however commercialized posts or resume signatures will be edited. We tend to err on the side of caution to protect the integrity of the system. Affiliate based URLs are not allowed anywhere on the system.

Technically to your own own site, but the "promotional urls" does not specifically say your site, so you could read it as any link could be considered promotional. Some people play it safe and put a nix on all links b/c of that "err on side of caution" thing. I was mearly pointing out that the delink was not an accident.
