Have I been hacked or infected?

Dynamic site works except from my computer..

I have a php database driven site that is working fine except that I can't modify certain pages from my main computer. I can modify those pages from all the other machines I've tried. Basically three buttons (modify, delete, cancel) show on all machines but mine. It's as though there is some form of cloaking going on. Anyone have any clues to what might be going on?
PS it's not a browser issue - I get the same lack of buttons on Explorer, Navigator and Opera

Just a guess but are you being automatically logged on as a user without the relevant rights?

Bagatell, what happens when you view the source code on different machines? Usually if you've been infected with some kind of adware the source will be altered, and that will be the first clue. It would also be a good idea to run Ad-aware on your machine, just to eliminate the possibility.

I'm not sure spyware/adware is the answer here, though, changing input buttons is an unusual thing for scumware to do.

I've run adaware, spy bot, and Norton (all updated) and cleared the usual stuff. My Search keeps coming up on Adaware even though I've cleared it a number of times and the My Search bar is no longer showing in Explorer. The machine appears to be running fine with everything else.
I'm not being logged in automatically and I have the same problem for all users.

There are differences in the code viewed on my machine and others (dreamweaver is showing different syntax errors ;( ) but so far I can't see what's causing the loss of buttons.

Because Adaware and antivirus programs have to react to things after they are discovered there's always a surprisingly large number of things they won't catch. If you don't find the answer elsewhere you might want to report the problem to these people in case it is a new virus or piece of adware.
