"Internet traffic began building momentum on Saturday evening and by midnight Eastern Time the SCO Web site was flooded with requests beyond its capacity," SCO said in a statement.
Apparently, it is still down, or just taken offline.

I'd think once they identified the source of abnormally increasing traffic, they'd shut down, thus foregoing the inevitable pain and sufferage of enduring a frontal assault.
