same color text and background

what about text and images?s

I keep hearing talk about penalties for using same color text and background, in order to hide keyword rich text. If text is used with a color matching background-image, will it be caught? It seems so obvious for the black hats, but I never read about that. I monitor my competitors for it. Do I need to, or will they get caught out anyway?

i think if you need to keyword spam to get traffic to your site the rest of it really isnt worth looking at

I couldn't agree more, but there are lot of very successful "bad guys" out there, and I have to deal with that. (Nice guys......)
